Medbury School - Play The Game
Medbury - Independent School for Boys

Life at Medbury

“Play the Game”

The School motto “Play the Game” is an important part of each school day and a Medbury boy’s life – not only on the playing field, but also in his interactions with others, his attitude toward his academic work and his responsibilities.

“Play the Game” is as much about one’s values and conduct as it is about being involved and participating. The School aims to provide an environment in which the boy will establish a set of values, which will enable him to make the most of his secondary school and of his life. Medbury sets high expectations, and encourages each boy to use his talents to the full. The School aims to teach boys that they have responsibilities, not only to themselves, but also as members of their families and of the wider community.
